Order Information, Terms & Policies

I’ve written out my terms and policies to help you understand just what you’re getting and what will happen when you place an order. Please read them carefully. These Terms and Policies as posted will govern every purchase you make.

General Shipping Information

If your purchase originates in Brazil or China (you will know from the jewelry description), please allow 4 – 5 weeks for delivery. Although it will probably arrive more quickly, I like to allow a little extra time in case of any shipping delays. For orders that are made in New York, please allow 3 weeks for delivery. For exceptionally busy sales periods such as holidays, you should anticipate delays in the US mail system that are out of my control.

I ship priority mail which takes from 2 to 3 days to arrive – sometimes a day longer for the west coast. I prefer to insure everything that I mail, and insured mail must be signed for. If you choose to waive insurance, I will not take responsibility for any merchandise that is lost, stolen, or damaged.

Pictures

I work very hard to display images that accurately portray the colors of the products offered on this website. However, because the color you see is dependent on your computer monitor, I cannot guarantee that the color you see will be exactly the same as what is displayed on your monitor. The products also may appear larger or smaller than their actual size. Some photographs have been enlarged to show detail. Please refer to the item description for the exact size of the gemstones and other item attributes.

Custom Orders and made to order items

We can custom make any piece of jewelry. If you can provide a picture of what you’d like, we can then discuss the details of the design. Custom orders and made to order items require a 50% deposit and are non-returnable.

Returns & Refunds

At bejewelledgoddess.com, your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, return the item within 5 days in an unworn condition with no scratches, dings, or dents. After 5 days all sales are final. My refund policy does not apply to jewelry that has been sized, set, unset, or modified in any way.

Please insure your returns in case of loss or damage during shipping, as I cannot give refunds or exchanges for items that don’t arrive back to me in the condition in which they left. You will then receive a full refund or store credit, less all applicable shipping and insurance costs.

Damaged Items

 
If your item arrives in a damaged condition, save all the boxes and packing materials in the event that a postal inspector needs to see them for insurance purposes. Contact me and we will work together to address the issue.

Payment Methods

 
I accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover online via my secure shopping cart. The billing address we receive from you must match your credit card statement billing address exactly or your order will not be processed.

I also accept checks, money orders, and cashiers checks by mail at the address listed here on my site. Orders will be held for up to 10 days for personal and business checks to clear. To order by check or money order by mail, use the shopping cart or the check and money order form and mail it with your payment.

Note: If you order one of a kind or limited stock items, it’s best to e mail me a list of what you want so I can hold them until I receive your check or money order.

Sales Tax

Sales Tax will be added to orders where it is required by law that I collect sales tax. At this time, orders shipped within New York State must be taxed.

Price Changes

The terms and prices at the time of your order will be in effect for that order. I reserve the right to change prices at any time. I reserve the right to change my policies and terms at any time.

Jewelry Guarantee

All jewelry purchased from bejewelledgoddess.com is covered for 6 months against any manufacturer’s defects. If your jewelry breaks in the course of normal wear, I will repair or replace it for free. Normal wear does not include swimming, bathing, housework, sports, strenuous activity, being chewed on or run over or stomped on, chemicals, and other such things which are not suitable for fine jewelry. The loss of precious, semi precious stones or pearls from settings are not covered. If your jewelry does get damaged in the course of abnormal wear, I’ll be glad to fix it or replace it at the most reasonable price possible.
